Mark October’s date night for the 19th!
The Old School Variety Show is returning with shows every month through May! Date night is now officially the third Saturday of every month. We wanted to have so many of our previous guests back but, with only 4 shows a year, there was no room for new folks. The solution . . . double the number of shows.
Our first show of the season will be September 21, 2013, 8pm, at The Grand Hotel Ballroom – 207 Pearl Street above The Pearl Ice Cream shop. Tickets are available at the People’s Food Coop and McCaffrey’s coffee across from UWL. Our first show of the season will feature musical guests Muddy Flats and the Hepcats and Jaybone Bell. Local historian and storyteller, Sue Hessel, will be telling us all about La Crosse’s deviant past. Michael Scott will again be presenting the local news Garrison Keillor style. Hope to see you all then.
